If your binoculars are described as 10×50 this means that the magnification is 10x and the diameter of the objective lens is 50 millimeters. In this example your binoculars would have an exit pupil of 5 millimeters. A larger exit pupil is allowing more light to enter the binoculars and can help improve image quality.
