While doing research on Carson Z-80S Superzoom 20-80×25 Compact Zoom Binoculars, we came a cross several reviews posted online. It received an average rating of 2.5 stars out of a possible 5.0 stars. Many of the comments were positive, but as you can imagine, there were several negative comments as well.

One of the reviewers thought that they were well put together and very fun to use. They also liked the high quality images while looking through them at the normal magnification. Another reviewer pointed out that using a tripod to hold the binoculars steady was a good idea and it was helpful that Carson included a tripod adapter on the binoculars. A few other reviewers also thought that basic magnification provided was more than enough to give great views through these binoculars.

For the negatives we came across a couple of the reviewers who thought that zoom was not nearly as good as they had hoped, and they were really disappointed. They also thought that using the zoom feature did not provide enough light and all the images were way too dim.
