Most reviewers agree that these are a very good pair of binoculars for everyday use. They are compact and light weight and also provide excellent image quality. This is a great pair of binoculars to take with you while hiking, back packing, hunting, attending sporting events and more.
There are a couple of complaints that some people had. At higher magnifications it can be difficult to keep the image still. There is also some loss of light when observing objects at higher magnifications. Despite these drawbacks most people agree that image quality is superb at 8 to 12x magnification and most would also agree that the higher zoom is nice to have even if there is a bit of a reduction in the amount of light that comes through.
A number of reviewers are saying that the Nikon Binoculars are excellent and one person says the Nikon 7496 Eagleview Zoom are “clearly the best binoculars I have ever owned”. He says that he uses binoculars every day at his job and has been since 1982 and he has never had a pair with image quality as clear as these.
