Customer Reviews

During our research of Nikon 7506 Premier LX L 8×20 Roof Prism Binoculars, we found a total of 9 reviews online with an average user rating of 4.5 stars out of a possible 5 stars. The overwhelming opinion of these binoculars is that they have optics quality that is on par with the more expensive and prestigious binocular brands. Unfortunately, there were a few flaws to be found, all relating to its construction design.

Most of the praise was directed towards the optics, though the compact size is also a plus to many users. One user, impressed by the optics, explained “These bins have superior optics and brightness when compared to the high-end competition from Leica, Zeiss, and Swarovski. IMO, these are the best 8×20 bins available.” Another user, impressed by its size, praised “fits the hand easily. This model fits easily into the top pocket of a safari shirt. Overall and excellent product for the purpose.” The majority of the comments on these binoculars were of the same opinions.

Unfortunately, there were some flaws mentioned. One user complained that the binoculars “have proven to be delicate and the hinges have loosened and become floppy twice in two years.” Several others noted that the hinges appeared to be weak. Another user lamented “Far-end focus adjustment with little or ring finger takes some getting used to, and is a little stiff at near-zero temperatures , and the off-center fold feels awkward.” This user went on to say, though those issues are only minor, he still highly recommends them.

All in all, the Nikon Premier LX L 8×20 Binoculars are an excellent pair. They provide users with top quality optics matched only by models 3 times the cost. Unfortunately, they are a little bit flimsy at the hinges, and the focus adjustment takes a bit of getting used to. However, these issues were easily overcome by most users, and they still highly recommend them. After researching the Nikon Premier LX L 8×20 Binoculars, we would definitely recommend them to anyone.
