The Nikon 8-24×25 Travelite V Zoom is a zoom binocular but at 24x it is very difficult to keep the image still because there is a lot of shaking. A tripod would eliminate the shaking but there is no tripod mount on these binoculars. One reviewer states that you can zoom in up to about 16x magnification before shaking and vibrations become too much of a problem. One other minor issue that someone mentioned was that there is a slight loss of brightness at the top end of the zoom but this is common for many zoom lenses.
